God used the amazing pastors, families, and staff to open my eyes to disciple the community in serving and helping. My first missions trip was lead by a team that serve with the heart of Jesus. As we were to serve the staff of 20 Schemes in the west end, I found they ended up giving me a new heart for serving my community to spread the Gospels. I witnessed their love for sharing the Gospels in meals, community gardens, and cookouts thru all the Churches we helped. I was humbled by this and saw my team responded to this as well. As I get back to my life, I will stay in prayer and communication with 20 Schemes and be forever grateful for this experience. I also developed a strong connection with my team that I will look to for strength, wisdom, and guidance. God has “moved” me in discipleship with this trip and ignited a passion for serving as Christ did to find the lost one at a time in my community and everywhere I am led in future trips. Lord, send me! Isaiah 6:8
