If I had to describe this trip in one word, it would be beautiful! Getting to go back to Buikwe, Uganda, was so special. I loved getting to see so many familiar faces and rekindle friendships. LIA does a beautiful job coming alongside the local churches in order to build holistic ministry. Visiting savings groups and pastors' groups was our main goal while we were there, and it was amazing to hear their stories, what they have accomplished, and what they are dreaming of accomplishing. I was challenged many times during this trip with leadership decisions and providing several trainings to pastors and savings groups. These opportunities grew me in so many ways. Throughout the week on the field, I was constantly humbled by the opportunity the Lord gave me to join Him on mission in Uganda. Thank you Jesus for giving me a heart for the people of Uganda and the opportunity to bring 11 others with me to experience such a beautiful week. Seeing my team's excitement and hearing their stories during our daily debriefs brought me so much joy, knowing they are falling in love with the same people and place that I have.
