In 2019 we visited Adjumani, Uganda. It was the beginning of the BeFriend Project which would support this community for 3 years in specific areas of growth; spiritually, financially educationally and healthcare. It was a tremendous opportunity to see the foundation being laid.
In 2024 we saw that same foundation in Buikwe, and in Adjumani we witnessed transformation from heart, soul and mind in Adjumani. Gods work and fruit was vast. Not only were the first generation still going strong but they were sharing with others and more groups were going from dependent to independent business owners.
I’m so grateful that God gave me the opportunity to see His Glorious riches in the land. Prayer requests are for Samuel, the LIA director for Uganda, to strengthen him as he perseveres in the daily work of pouring into to vulnerable communities. Prayers the for local pastors to persevere as they grow the capacity of their congregations. Prayers for the community members who are committed to the process of “seeds for change” process. Prayers for the continued growth of the schools being started by the teachers and pastors. Prayers for the farmland to produce crops. Prayers for the business success of the community members.
