Community Transformation: House Build

Welcome to the Community Transformation: House Build!
July 13-16 • July 20-23 • July 27-30

We are inviting you to join us in an opportunity to "love where we are" by serving in our local community. This summer, we will continue the work we began last year with a goal to rebuild 10 homes and build one new home in the southern and western parts of Louisville. We are, once again, partnering with The Fuller Center of Housing. In addition, we have a new partner this year, CrossRoads Missions. CrossRoads Missions specializes in building and rebuilding homes and will lead the on-site effort from start to finish. 

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

• workers to help with demolition of the homes, painting, landscaping, clean-up and more.  We will be working side by side with the future homeowners as they contribute to the building/rebuilding of their homes.
• prayer warriors who are willing to walk and pray over the neighborhoods surrounding the homes.
• those with a gift of hospitality.  If you love to cook and serve meals, we need you!  We plan to have cookouts for the neighbors and volunteers throughout this process.

We are so excited to partner with local churches to transform the lives of our community by showing the love of Christ to our neighbors! This is the perfect opportunity to connect people to Jesus and one another.

Must be 12 years old or older to participate on work site. If under 12, may participate in prayer walking and serving food.
