Mission Trip: 2025 Sport for Life Sweden Family Camp
Overview: Join Sport for Life this summer to help them put on their yearly Sportsweek Camp. Engage with kids through teaching sports and build intergenerational relationships with their families as parents watch their kids, or in the evenings at the nightly meeting where there will be games, skits, etc. to promote fellowship and friendship building. This evening meeting is followed by worship, devotions and testimony sharing.
Mission: Sport for Life has a mission to empower young people by using sports as a platform to promote character development, leadership, personal growth, and sharing the gospel. Through clinics, outreach events, and cultural exchanges, they engage with local youth, mentor them through the principles of sportsmanship, and introduce them to the joys of sports. In addition to sports events and camps, they also collaborate with Swedish community leaders to strengthen relationships and share the message of faith and hope.

July 5th - 13th, 2025
Location:
Halmstad, Sweden.
Cost:
$2,700 (includes travel, lodging, meals, and all mission-related activities). It does not include airport meals, travel to/from local airport, tolls to airport, or souvenirs.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- If over 18, Southeast Volunteer Application must be completed within 5 days of trip application. Missions Ministry will send to each applicant who has not already completed one.
- If over 18, MinistrySafe online training must be complete within 5 days of trip application.
- Non-refundable $100 deposit is required at time of application.
Responsibilities
- Complete all Southeast required forms by the first trip meeting.
- Mandatory attendance at team meeting(s) and overnight team retreat. If you can't attend the retreat (3 weeks before trip departure) please consider a different trip.
- Ensure passport expiration date is 6 months or more after trip return date.
- It is the team member's responsibility to fundraise for the trip. If fundraising goals are not met, participant will either be required to cover the amount not raised or drop from trip.
- All deadlines must be met and participant acknowledges missing a deadline will cause disqualification from trip.
- Read & agree to the Social Media Policy.
