Mission Trip: 2025 CrossRoads Mexico
Overview: CrossRoads Mexico is building houses in the neighborhood of Piedra Angular, which is a neighborhood of homes built by CrossRoads teams for local Christian families living on mission in Piedras Negras. And we are beginning to do more construction and renovation projects out and about in the city as well. Groups participate in projects such as painting, drywalling, pouring cement, etc.
In recent years we have seen a surge in people immigrating North and passing through our city. It has created an incredible opportunity for ministry through immigrant relief work, and we have seen God at work in the lives of people in desperate situations! Group participants get involved by spending time with our immigrant friends and meeting basic needs through handing out water and clothing.
The English House offers beginner, intermediate and advance English classes to local people from Piedras Negras, and it has been a success! We love involving our groups in the English classes if and when they are in session.
Mission:
Seeking to provide for those in need and serve as Christ did, ServeMexico transforms the city of Piedras Negras, Mexico, with love and compassion by working alongside and empowering already-existing ministries through construction projects and outreach programs.

Cost:
$1,840 (includes travel, lodging, meals, and all mission-related activities). It does not include airport meals, travel to/from local airport, tolls to airport, or souvenirs.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Participants over 18 must have a current Southeast Volunteer Application. Missions will send if it is needed.
- If over the age of 18, MinistrySafe must be completed and current. The Missions Ministry will send this to each person who does not have it after they have signed up for the trip.
- Non-refundable $100 deposit is required at time of application.
Responsibilities
- Complete all Southeast required forms by the first trip meeting.
- Mandatory attendance at team meeting(s) and overnight team retreat. If you can't attend the retreat (3 weeks before trip departure) please consider a different trip.
- It is the team member's responsibility to fundraise for the trip. If fundraising goals are not met, participant will either be required to cover the amount not raised or drop from trip.
- All deadlines must be met and participant acknowledges missing a deadline will cause disqualification from trip.
- Read & agree to the Social Media Policy.
- Ensure passport expiration date is 6 months or more after trip return date.
