2024 Harvest Ministries India - Childrens Camp
Did you ever experience the fulfilment of making a difference? Come! Join us on a short-term trip to step into the lives of 300 destitute and disadvantaged children in rural India. Southeast partner Harvest Ministries has established VMSS, a residential school, 40 miles from the city of Hyderabad, which is aptly called the little piece of Heaven. You will come alongside the staff to inspire these children to realize their full potential in the Lord. You'll be sharing in their chapel service, putting on a carnival for the kids, learning about cricket and Kabadi from these youths, and encouraging local village church leaders and members. Harvest Ministries has planted 110 churches in places where no Christian has lived before. They also provide camps, HIV/Aids treatment/counseling/nutrition, health clinics and dental treatment, Stepping Stones microloans and water wells.

Restrictions:
1) Trip members must be adult members of Southeast Christian church or have verified attended for at least 6 months. Youth over age 12 applying must have a parent applying and both must actively participate on all aspects of the trip.
2) Trip members must have a current passport with an expiration date that goes 6 months beyond the last day of the trip.
3) Trip members must be able to actively walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs.
4) Daily basic travel insurance is included in your trip costs.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Must have a valid passport with an expiration date after May 2, 2025.
- Please check CDC web site to determine if any vaccines are required. These are not part of the trip cost.
- If over the age of 18, MinistrySafe must be completed and current. The Missions Ministry will send this to each person who does not have it after they have signed up for the trip.
- Please upload clear, color copies of passports to ServiceReef via the My Dashboard link at top of page in jpeg or pdf format. Passport must be valid 6 months from trip return date.
- Southeast Volunteer Application must be completed within 5 days of trip application. Missions Ministry will send to each applicant who has not already completed one.
Responsibilities
- Complete all forms by due date.
- Ensure payment deadlines are met or risk being dropped from trip.
