This was my first ever mission trip. While I have volunteered for day trips this was my first extended missions. I thought I was going to be the hands & feet of Jesus, however I quickly realized not only was that my goal but I got to witness it in so many other people, volunteers AND the amazing people of Mtn city. My soul was filled with love and gratitude each day. We had the best team anyone could ask for. A week home now & I am missing each of their faces everyday. The community of Mtn city are some of the strongest and resilient people I’ve ever encountered. I am already looking to go back just as soon as I can. A huge thanks to our team and our leaders. Rob, Curtis, Chris B, Vicky you are all amazing humans. Jesus shines through each of you. It was an honor to be lead by you guys. Thanks to everyone for making this a trip I will never forget.
