Building Relationships, One Bus Ride At A Time

Going to Cuba on a mission trip was one of those “Mountain Top Moments”. I loved being immersed into the culture and being able to do life with the people for a week. My favorite memories were from when we would hang out with the youth. The bus rides into downtown Havana were especially fun because we were able to play music over a speaker. The youth loved the American pop songs so we were able to jam out together. Also, at the house churches we would play games with all of the members. These ranged from who could eat the guava first to dancing in a circle and having to freeze when the music stopped. I can’t wait to be able to go back and build more relationships with the youth in Cuba.
