NYC Blankenbaker HSM (By Invitation)

WHEN
Apr 1 2017 - Apr 5 2017
WHERE
New York, New York
COST
$800.00

This trip is for high school students who have been invited to participate in this trip. Participation in student mission trips is overseen by each campus student ministry.

Southeast Missions is joining with churches and ministries in New York City to demonstrate to a group of high school students what it means to “be Jesus” in a city that is very different from their own.The group will partner with church plants and urban outreach ministries, as well as share in group time with several pastors.  This is a great opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience of serving an urban community in Jesus’ name.

Objectives

  • Serve alongside several cross-cultural urban ministries
  • Meet with church planters in an effort to learn about what is involved in church planting
  • Bond with fellow students in the group as they learn and live out what it means to be Jesus in an urban setting
