Miami Church Plant - Fall Festival
Wanted – servant-minded people who are willing to serve a church plant in Miami, Florida! A team from Southeast will return to Miami for the second year to serve alongside Miami Church, a Southeast supported church plant that launched in the Coconut Grove area in 2014. Our team will set-up/clean-up and help host a face-painting booth at the Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival. Face-painting skills are helpful but not required! With over 25,000 expected attendees, this 3-day event will serve as an excellent tool to promote Miami Church and offer opportunities for the church to build relationships in the community. The goal is to help the church provide an atmosphere of celebration and family bonding through fun, food, games and activities!
Objectives
- Provide a fun, exciting and encouraging event
- Provide an opportunity for families to bond
- Serve as the hands and feet of Miami Church in order to allow them opportunities to build relationships in their community
Considerations
All team members will be required to complete a background assessment and Ministry Safe Training prior to this trip. Minimum age: 18.

Meet your team. Receive an overview of the trip. Receive fundraisng information. Begin praying for the trip. This meeting generally occurs within two weeks after the trip deadline.

Team Retreat (Mandatory) Required
This is mandatory for all trip participants and usually occurs 4-6 weeks prior to the trip departure date. You will participate in team building activities, review the team handbook, receive travel information, etc.

Print, sign and return to Southeast Missions as soon as possible. Note: If you have served on a trip in recent years you may already have this on file.
Confidential Volunteer Application for Adult | Background Check (18 & older) Required

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Complete online application and pay $50 non-refundable deposit.
- All required forms should be turned in by the application deadline of July 14.
Responsibilities
- Meet all paperwork and trip cost deadlines.
- Adhere to the Team Covenant at all times. *see Forms tab
- Attend all Team Meetings and Mandatory Retreat.
- Trip cost does not include your spending money and food/drinks in airports.
Restrictions
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.

- Discuss with your family.
- Submit all required forms by the application deadline.
