Your Community Ministry is returning to Cuba in 2017!  Every year we travel to Havana, to share in the ministry experience with Campo Amor and the Alamar team.  As usual, this trip will consist of supporting local pastors, connecting with church leaders and neighborhoods, and some good hard work of cleaning, supporting and meeting needs in the church and community.

The Republic of Cuba is an island nation in the Caribbean.  Havana is the largest city in Cuba and the country's capital. Cuba is home to over 11 million people and is the most populous island nation in the Caribbean, as well as the largest by area. Its people, culture, and customs draw from diverse sources

There are great opportunities and needs in Cuba.  One obvious need is disciple making and Christian education. Another need is neighborhood support.  We bring our skills and passions with us, and we help in areas of light construction, cleaning, painting and other areas as needed.  In working together we bond Christians, both Latino and American as we serve together. Finally, Cuba team members visit house churches, pray for new friends, share stories and meals and learn about each other.  These lessons are what we bring back to our communities as we serve and grow in our faith.
