Cuba Childrens & Community Outreach
Children will be the focus of outreach in a local home church format. We will provide support to the local church through participation in worship, crafts, games, sports and more. Kids enjoy being outside, so count on physical activity being a part of the week. Relationship building and encouragement are primary with both kids and local leaders. This opens an opportunity to share Christ with the kids and through their changed lives to impact families for Him.
During the day we will go into the community to visit and share Christ with adults. Evenings we will return to the same community to participate in the children’s ministry.
Cuba has been declared atheist since the revolution in 1959, but has gradually opened up to different denominations over the past 10 years. This has given us an opportunity share the Truth of the Gospel on the island.
Due to the flights into Cuba, the trip dates may flex a day either way.
*Due to insurance company policies, the trip costs are higher for persons traveling internationally who are age 75 - 85. Please contact the Missions Ministry for pricing information if you are over age 75.

Packing party/Prayer Send-Off
Final preparation of supplies. Supplies will be distributed to each team member for transporting to airport and Cuba. Followed by prayer with family and friends. Attendance is expected.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Complete online application and $100 non-refundable deposit.
- Two photocopies of your passport and all required forms turned in by the deadline.
- Valid Passport – the expiration date on your passport MUST be 6 months beyond the return date of the trip.
- Immunizations – Southeast Mission Ministry supports the recommendations of the CDC. Please consult the CDC website at cdc.gov and your family physician.
Responsibilities
- Meet all paperwork and trip cost deadlines.
- Adhere to the Team Covenant at all times. *see Forms tab
- Attend all Team Meetings and Mandatory Retreat.
- Trip cost does not include your passport, immunizations, spending money and food/drinks in airports.

Preparation
- Pray.
- Discuss with your family.
- Submit 2 photocopies of your passport and all required forms by the deadline.
- Start the process for obtaining or renewing your passport as soon as possible, if you do not have one.
- Obtain immunizations and medications as advised by your doctor. Southeast Missions Ministry supports the recommendations of the Center of Disease Control www.cdc.gov/travel.
