Christian Churches Disability Ministry - Indiana MSM
Participation in student mission trips is overseen by each campus student ministry.
Overview A group of middle school students from Southeast’s Indiana Campus will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee to serve Christian Churches Disability Ministry (CCDM.) The group will help with various service projects; spend time encouraging and building relationships during a fun, day-long outing in the Smoky Mountains; and plan a Sunday worship service for residents and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to serve with your friends in missional living.
Objectives
- To encourage the staff and residents of CCDM
- To accomplish much-needed service projects on campus
- To treat the residents to a fun outing off-site
- To leave lasting impressions of Jesus on the residents through our interaction and encouragement
Considerations
- The residents of CCDM are all high-functioning adults and are very welcoming and loving.
- The team will travel together by van.
- All team members will be required to complete a Volunteer Application prior to leaving for this trip.
