2024 GMHC Convoy of Hope + Lifebridge Serving Opportunity - HSM

When: Saturday, November 9th, from 9am-11am.
Where: Blakenbaker campus. Block streetfront.
Who: Southeast HSM students (all campuses)
What: This event offers high school students an immersive disaster response experience as part of the Global Missions Health Conference in partnership with Convoy of Hope + Lifebridge. Students will walk through a disaster simulation, learning about the devastating impacts of tornadoes, floods, and war zones. The interactive exhibit replicates the challenges faced by disaster victims, helping students better understand the importance of preparedness and the critical role of disaster relief.
After the educational portion of the immersion, participants will move to the Block streetfront to assemble cleanup kits, which will be loaded onto Convoy of Hope’s trailer for deployment to real disaster sites nationwide.
There is a general waiver students need to sign before the serving opportunity.
In order to officially sign up for this serving opportunity, students will need to receive a confirmation email from Service Reef.
