Seattle Church Plant - 920 HSM
This trip is for high school students who have been invited to participate in this trip. Participation in students mission trips is overseen by each campus student ministry. All trip participants must be an active Southeast member or attendee for at least 6 months with verifiable attendance/participation.
Southeast Missions and Blankenbaker HSM are partnering with Intrepid Church (Seattle, WA) and Church of the City (Portland, OR) for a Northwest U.S. church planting experience. Both churches, in affiliation with Christian Evangelistic Association (CEA), were launched in 2015 with a mission to reach those who are living without the hope of Jesus Christ.
Our team will share in CEA’s and the churches’ vision, serve alongside various ministry partners, and volunteer during worship services on Sunday. This is a great opportunity for students to experience, first hand, what is involved in church planting.
Objectives
- Meet with a church plant organization, pastors and residents to learn what is involved in church planting
- Encourage the church plant staffs and families
- Help reach those who are living without the hope of Christ
