2026 CrossRoads - Appalachia Fall Break
Appalachia - Fall Break 2026!
In 2026, a team from SECC will head to Langley, Kentucky to serve with CrossRoads Missions in the heart of Appalachia. This trip will focus on construction and hands-on labor projects that directly impact families and communities in need. With a team size limited to 25 people, every set of hands will make a difference—no special skills are required, though experience in construction is always a bonus. CrossRoads Missions has been faithfully serving in Appalachia for years, coming alongside local families to repair and rebuild homes, strengthen community spaces, and bring hope through tangible acts of service. This mission trip offers the chance to get your hands dirty, build lasting relationships, and be part of God’s work of restoration in Eastern Kentucky.
There are a few requirements to attend this trip.
1. Complete a Southeast Volunteer Application sent to you by Short-Term Missions.
2. Complete the online MinistrySafe training supplied by Short-Term Missions via email link.
3. All trips require a deposit, which is non-refundable. The IRS considers all monies going towards a mission trip as a charitable donation. To comply with IRS guidelines, we are unable to refund any monies submitted.
4. Once registration opens, you may begin fundraising. Please be aware, at no time are donations refundable. They are considered charitable contributions by the IRS, and as such, can not be refunded.
