2025 Sport for Life Sweden Golf Camp
Mission Trip: 2025 Sport for Life Sweden Golf Camp
Overview: Join us this summer for a unique mission trip to Sweden, where the game of golf will be our bridge to connect with communities, spread hope, and build relationships. Through the Sport for Life initiative, we aim to inspire youth, support local organizations, and foster a sense of belonging and teamwork, all while enjoying the beauty of Sweden’s stunning golf courses.
Mission: Our mission is to empower young people by using golf as a platform to promote character development, leadership, personal growth, and sharing the Gospel. Through clinics, outreach events, and cultural exchanges, we will engage with local youth, mentor them through the principles of sportsmanship, and introduce them to the joys of golf as both a sport and a life skill. In addition to the sporting events, we will also collaborate with Swedish community leaders to strengthen relationships and share the message of faith and hope.
Purpose:
- Inspire and Empower: Through golf clinics and team-building activities, we will encourage youth to develop confidence, resilience, and integrity—traits that go beyond the course and into their everyday lives.
- Community Engagement: Work with Swedish local leaders, churches, and organizations to bring communities together, offering support, encouragement, and opportunities for growth.
- Cultural Exchange: Experience Swedish culture firsthand while sharing our own stories and testimonies. Build relationships that transcend borders and promote understanding between nations.
- Faith in Action: Share the message of hope, love, and faith, with opportunities for worship, prayer, and reflection throughout the trip.
Activities:
- Golf Clinics: Lead golf clinics for local youth, providing basic skills training, teaching the game’s core principles, and promoting teamwork.
- Community Outreach: Participate in local events and service projects that support Swedish communities, focusing on youth development and social welfare.
- Cultural Tours and Fellowship: Enjoy sightseeing and bonding activities, including exploring Sweden’s picturesque cities, nature, and historical landmarks.
- Church Partnership: Partner with local churches to offer support through worship, prayer, and spiritual discussions, creating opportunities for personal and communal growth.
