Mission Trip: 2025 HAI Malawi Women's Empowerment Training
Overview: Join Hope Alive ministering to ladies in Lilongwe at their annual conference focusing on women's empowerment. Every year, around 200 women along with some men and children, attend. Their hunger and thirst for the Word, fellowship, and prayer are tangible! The SE team will have opportunities to assist with teaching, leading character studies, and putting on skits, which engage and bless those who are illiterate.
Mission: Hope Alive's mission is to come alongside like-minded partners to facilitate healthy mental and spiritual growth through scripture and the power of the Holy Spirit.

June 12th - 23rd, 2025.
Location:
Lilongwe, Malawi
Cost:
$3,565 (includes travel, lodging, meals, and all mission-related activities). It does not include airport meals, travel to/from local airport, tolls to airport, or souvenirs.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Southeast Volunteer Application must be completed within 5 days of trip application. Missions Ministry will send to each applicant who has not already completed one.
- MinistrySafe online training must be complete within 5 days of trip application.
- Non-refundable $100 deposit is required at time of application.
Responsibilities
- Complete all Southeast required forms by the first trip meeting.
- Mandatory attendance at team meeting(s) and overnight team retreat. If you can't attend the retreat (3 weeks before trip departure) please consider a different trip.
- Ensure passport expiration date is 6 months or more after trip return date.
- It is the team member's responsibility to fundraise for the trip. If fundraising goals are not met, participant will either be required to cover the amount not raised or drop from trip.
- All deadlines must be met and participant acknowledges missing a deadline will cause disqualification from trip.
- Read & agree to the Social Media Policy.
- Vaccination fees are responsibility of team member.
