2024 Pioneer Bible Translators Uganda - Nile Branch Meeting
SE Christian Church has the awesome opportunity to join our Ministry Partner, Pioneer Bible Translators (PBT), in Uganda this Fall for their Annual Fall Branch Meeting.
The team will have a team of 6-9 participants to assist with the kids programming during the meeting. The goal is to have three attendees work with six children aged 3-4, two participants to work with five children aged 5-7, and one individual lead three kids aged 9-14. The team would also have one or two of the team members lead adult morning worship for approximately 30 minutes and there is an opportunity for someone to lead the PBT Spiritual Retreat Day.
The team can expect to kick off their mornings with breakfast around 7am, AM programming, lunch, PM programming, rest, and 6:30 dinner each day. The team will be responsible for their own student curriculums, supplies, etc.
Pioneer Bible Translators exists to disciple the Bibleless, mobilizing God’s people to provide enduring access to God’s Word.
Restrictions:
1) Trip members must be adult members of Southeast Christian church or have verified attended for at least 6 months. Youth over age 12 applying must have a parent applying and both must actively participate on all aspects of the trip.
2) Trip members must have a current passport with an expiration date that goes 6 months beyond the last day of the trip.
3) Trip members must be able to actively walk long distances over uneven terrain and climb stairs.
4) Daily basic travel insurance is included in your trip costs.

Prerequisites
- If over the age of 18, MinistrySafe must be completed and current. The Missions Ministry will send this to each person who does not have it after they have signed up for the trip.
- Please upload clear, color copies of passports to ServiceReef via the My Dashboard link at top of page in jpeg or pdf format. Passport must be valid 6 months from trip return date.
- Southeast Volunteer Application must be completed within 5 days of trip application. Missions Ministry will send to each applicant who has not already completed one.
Responsibilities
