Emergency Services Intake

WHEN
Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 09:00 AM - 12:30 PM more
WHERE
New Albany, IN
The Emergency Intake Volunteer will serve Hope Southern Indiana by ministering to those in need of emergency support by being the first person to greet them as they come seeking help.  This person is a greeter, helping those seeking our services by offering compassion, kindness, and a friendly smile.  Most volunteers in this position volunteer one day a week for a morning (9-12:30) shift.  You are in charge of greeting our neighbors, having them sign in, finding their file, and helping them complete the sign-up for their services. You will provide support to our neighbors who are waiting to meet with a case manager, and then you will offer support to the case manager by making copies, phone calls, etc., to complete casework.
