Appalachia Service Trip - Southwest HS
A team Southwest HSM will spend Spring Break 2016 serving the Appalachia Region. They will join with Crossroads Mission, a Southeast-supported missions partner, for a week of worship and service in Pike County, Kentucky. The group will engage local churches and school groups as they offer encouragement and fellowship through worship and service. This is a great opportunity for students who have a passion for service and church involvement to gain first-hand experience while serving partners and churches.

Prerequisites
- Complete online application and $50 non-refundable deposit.
- Appropriate release forms.
- Volunteer Application for Minors (ages 9-17) or Adults (ages 18-up)
- Medical Care Power of Attorney (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Meet all paperwork and trip cost deadlines.
- Adhere to the Team Covenant at all times. *see Forms tab
- Attend all Team Meetings and Mandatory Retreat.
- Trip cost does not include spending money and food/drinks in airports.
Restrictions
- Must be age 13 or older.
Preparation
- Pray that God will work in your heart, preparing you for this opportunity.
- Pray that God would go before and prepare the hearts of those you will serve.
- Pray for team safety and travel.
- Discuss this trip with your family.
- Submit all required forms.
